At the heart of our faith is the saving grace of God, revealed to us through His Word and Sacraments. We joyfully confess the following core beliefs:
We believe in one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in majesty, power, and love.
God the Father is the Creator of all things—heaven, earth, and everything in them. He lovingly sustains His creation and desires all people to know Him.
Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully human. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, suffered, died on the cross for the sins of the world, and rose again in victory over death. Through Him, we have the promise of eternal life.
The Holy Spirit works through God’s Word and Sacraments to create and sustain faith in our hearts. He calls us to faith, nurtures our spiritual growth, and empowers us to live as God's children.
All people are sinners by nature, separated from God and unable to save themselves. No amount of good works can restore this broken relationship. But out of His great mercy, God sent His only Son to be our Savior—redeeming us by His grace, not by our merit.
We trust in the Bible as the inspired and living Word of God. It teaches us the truth about our sin, God’s grace, and His plan for salvation through Jesus Christ. Scripture shapes our beliefs, values, and daily lives.
God gives us His grace in tangible ways through the Sacraments:
Holy Baptism brings us into God’s family, washing away our sin and marking us as His own.
This is Christ’s true body and blood given to us in, with, and under the bread and wine—for the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of faith.
