Dr. John S. Cotner, Ph.D. shepherds and guides Messiah Lutheran's congregation established by the Lord some forty years ago. It is his humble privilege to serve as settled pastor, ever relying on the Crucified and Risen Lord Jesus Christ for discernment, protection, and provision. He leads the church to seek to be people of the Gospel in such times as these.

Christinna Elizondo has followed Christ for twenty years and lovingly served Messiah Lutheran Church for seven. She also bookkeeps for a few local clients. Her and her husband, James, have three children: one adult and two in Calallen ISD. They lead the youth ministry at their church down the street and strive to help others know and follow Jesus whole-heartedly.

Samantha Herrera is a follower of Christ and a proud parent of two children in Calallen ISD. She actively volunteers and takes great pride in ensuring that the children in MDO are cared for, supported, and guided with Christ-centered values. Her faith, family, and dedication to serving others shapes who she is every day.

Registering for 2025-26 School Year
Many classes are full but we have a few available openings. To secure your student's spot, we will need a completed application (request via email) and $60 for the registration fee. If you know of anyone looking for a great part-time preschool program, please contact us at mdo@mlc-cc.org. Be sure to include your name, telephone, prospecting student(s), and the(ir) corresponding birthdate(s). Messiah MDO operates Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 2pm, corresponding with the Calallen ISD school calendar.
Tuition is $175/month.
