Messiah Lutheran Church

Facility Use

Thank you for your interest in renting our facilities. Any group wishing to use a church facility must apply for a reservation (see contract below, p.4) at least two weeks in advance. Any Messiah Lutheran Church function will have preference for the use over any other group.

It is recognized that non-member groups (especially non-profit and civic organizations) carry on programs of a worthy nature. Our congregation wishes to make its property available to such groups provided the goal or purpose of the group is not contrary to the aims of our congregation and does not interfere with needs of the congregation. This offer is further made contingent upon the understanding that other priorities for the use of the campus (as defined in the contract) might cause a rejection of an application for use.

These fees cover use for one academic semester or summer session.

Field: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays

Approximately 3 acres of open field with a backstop. Trash must be picked up and field left clean or contract void.

Field: Tuesdays & Thursdays

All indoor facility rentals require a specific refundable deposit. Custodial Services available for an extra fee.

If a custodian is requested to clean up after an activity, a fee for this service will be determined beforehand. Deposits will be returned if the facility is left clean, in order, and damage and other losses have not occurred.

How To Reserve

Please make your selections, fill out page 4 of our contract application below, and email to mlc@stx.rr.com

Our building trustee will review it and communicate availability ASAP. Contract remains invalid until singed by the board of trustees.

Church members, activities, and events of Messiah Lutheran Church hold priority. Thank you for understanding.

Once your Application for Reservation of Facilities has been approved by the building trustee,

you may bring cash or check during office hours (M-Th, 8am-1pm) or pay online (extra $5 fee) via a donation link that we send to you.

Your reservation is not held until payment/deposit is received.
